Fight depression using exercise

The coronavirus outbreak has resulted in people experiencing a lot of uncertainty about the future, and this uncertainty can be very difficult to cope with. A lot of people are struggling with symptoms of depression now more than ever.

Exercise is an all-natural treatment to fight depression!

Exercising starts a biological cascade of events that results in many health benefits, such as protecting against heart disease and diabetes, improving sleep, and lowering blood pressure.

It releases the body’s endorphins, resulting in the “runner’s high” that joggers report. This spurs the release of proteins called neurotrophic or growth factors, which cause nerve cells to grow and make new connections. The improvement in brain function makes you feel better. In people who are depressed, neuroscientists have noticed that the region that helps regulate mood in the brain is smaller. Exercise supports nerve cell growth in this area, improving nerve cell connections, which helps relieve depression.

During the lockdown, I am offering outdoor group training for a fraction of the price I am normally charging.

Please reach out if you feel you can benefit from this and let’s get stronger together!
